Personal Statement
I have been throwing since I was 11 years old and have aspired to throw at the collegiate level ever since. I know that participating in collegiate sports is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my life forever.
I am training year-round for track. In the past year I have transferred to a new club and a new High School in my area. The High School I transferred to has many academies, one of which I am apart of called GETA. It is a engineering and alternative energy academy offered on campus.
Qualities people would say that describe me as a leader would be dedicated, motivational, hardworking and resilient. I am a team leader and try to lead by example. I am a very dedicated and responsible thrower and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a GPA Of a 3.8. I am a member of student government and many other clubs on campus and volunteer at my church.
I want to attend a college where I can earn a degree and also push myself in the classroom and in the ring. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope that any college I would be able to attend would benefit me for educational future along with my track career as well!
