Being the second youngest in a family of seven brothers I have grown up to be quite competitive. Seeing all of my brothers do great things in sports, academics, and social life has driven me to want to out do them in every way possible. Whether it be finishing a plate of food fastest, being the best at a sport, or being the smart kid in the family my brothers and I have always competed and it has shaped me into the person I am today. This determination to be better than my brothers has allowed me to set certain goals that I would like to achieve. To play a sport in college would be one of my greatest goals and I know to get there I must work very hard. A more shorter term goal by the time I leave high school is to have straight A's the whole 4 years and achieve the title of Valedictorian. So far I am on my way to achieve this goal. The competitiveness that I share with my brothers has taught me that you have to fight for success and this has allowed me to spread my competitive nature to not only that of my family but to all that are reaching for the same goals that I am.
