Brenden Stone '15 Recruiting Profile

I'd like to get into an engineering school somewhere along the west coast. I was always fascinated by building things and finding out how things worked inside. For goals during the school year, I hope to break 15 minutes in cross country and bring my mile time down to 4:20 for track.

In  XCC, I just recently ran my PR of 14:54 in the 3 mile at our Pacific Coast League cluster meet #2 on Oct 30, 2014 and last week I placed first in our PCL finals running 15:06, winning the league individual title.  the local newspaper did a story on me, see this link:

In our awards ceremony this past week I was named Varsity Athlete of the Year, for the 4th time in a row.  In my high school career, I set 5 of the 8 individual course records for Northwood and helped set 2 of 4 team records.

In track last spring I also placed first in the 800 m at PCL finals, and ran in CIF SS with a best time of 1:55:32 placing 5th.
