My goals are to enjoy myself, work hard, and try my best every day doing what I love. I try my best to show everyone that I am a leader in and out of the ring. In the beginning I didn't know a thing about throwing; I didn't even have a coach. But I knew that I liked it and I knew I wanted to throw far. From that point, I found a local coach at a JC and tried to find every bit of wisdom I could learn about the sport. So far I have been progressing and I can't wait to see where the sport will take me. I love throwing and it would be my greatest joy in life to throw at the collegiate level.

- I've just recently started throwing hammer and so far I have been progressing at a good pace. I train for hammer with my JC coach Aron Winters. We do many drills that replicate the throw, many hammer specific core exercises, and many hammer specific lifts. I love training for hammer and I love throwing the hammer.

- When I started throwing the discus I didn't have a coach or a ring, all I had was a senior thrower who taught me the basics. My freshman year I had a best throw of 113 feet. The summer of 2012 I met Coach Winters and at the end of the next track season I had improved by 40 feet. We do many disc specific lifts and drills every day always trying to get better. Throwing the discus is a passion of mine, I wasn't very good at first, and still feel like I have allot of room to improve, but am now competing at an elite level of high school throwing. I love it and I'm going to work harder than anyone else to be a competitor at the collegiate level.
