Marc rodriguez '15 Recruiting Profile

I am an upcoming senior at Long Beach Wilson HS where I have ran since freshmen year. Running never came to mind to me until I ran 3 miles and then I knew this would be my life. I had a late start to the running world but I've been pushing to catch up, and  I know I have much more to give as well. I have always strived for my best and worked hard throughout my seasons and became captain my junior year for the Varsity squad that I joined Sophomore year and continue to lead our team today. Running cross country & track has taught me so much about achieving goals and working hard, its a sport of mentality and perseverance. I believe anything is possibly with hard work and determination, it has been my guidance throughout my high school career and hope to continue to achieve more.
