My name is John Hernandez and I wish to continue running through college because I have developed a love for running ever since my freshman year and I look to keep this up after high school. I wish to pursue running further in order to help me fund my a higher education. I also wish to continue running in order to lower my times and to prove to myself I can reach my own personal goals.
I believe I am a good runner for any team for several reasons. First, I am a very dedicated runner and athlete when it comes to running as I strive and dream of becoming the best I can become. I very rarely will miss practice or race day and always work my schedule so that I do not miss anything. I will always run even when I am not being supervised by a coach as I wish to get better.Second, as a runner and a competitor, I am very competitive as I will give everything I have in order to chase somebody I believe I should be beating. I am also a team player as I will always look to help my teammates by giving advice on racing and running in general as I wish to see everybody on my team reach their full potential. Overall, I have a drive to better myself and my teammates and I will give everything else in order to improve myself and my team.
I believe I am different from many athletes because I feel I can make everything work when it comes to my life. I can keep up with my running, with my education, and my social life. I do not believe a lot of people can balance everything going on like I can. I am a very friendly person and get along with everybody. Physically, I feel I am a very well balanced athlete both naturally and through hard work. As a student, I am very well rounded and achieve very good grades as my grades are important to me.
Overall, I am a very well rounded person because I can keep up with running, my schooling, and everything else life has to offer. I can be a strong runner for your team as well as leader for others. You would not have to worry about me academically because I am confident I can achieve good grades even while competing at a collegiate level. Also, I am not a problem for any coach as I do what I am told without arguing and I do not start problems within the team.
I would like to thank you for looking at my profile and considering me for your university and team. Thank you again.
