Hi, my name is Ernesto Tomaneng and I am extremely interested in continuing my Track and Field career into the college level. Recently, I have started my off season training for Track and Field and I have been working very hard to have an extremely successful year my junior year of Jumping. My goals for this year for Triple Jump is to Triple jump 46-47 ft., Long Jump between 22-23 ft., and high jump around 6ft 4in. Last year my workouts were not focused on track but more solely on basketball. But this year I am focusing strictly on Jumping, so I expect my leg strength to improve, my form for my events to improve, and most of all my Personal Record's to improve. With this, I am one of the most hard working athletes out on the track. I never seem to complain about the work outs no matter how difficult. I would always push my self to my own limits and never give up. This also falls into my academics. I currently have a 3.8 GPA during the first 9 weeks of my junior year and I am striving everyday to get ,at the least, a 4.0 or a 4.1 GPA. I have taken in my past and present 2 Advanced Placement classes, AP Psychology and AP Environmental Science, and I am passing and have passed both. Thank You for taking the time to read my personal statement, Hope to see you out in the track!
