Personal Statement

Hello my name is Jon Rodrigues. My dreams that I want to fulfill are Athletic Trainer, Professional Track Runner,Crime scene Investigator, and/or Game Designer.

I would love to be an Athletic Trainer because I want to train other athletes so I can help strengthen their body to perform at their very best. I believe that working out the body is critically important for an athlete because without any exercise, his/her body wont be able to stay in shape and their performance in the sport will decline more every time they don't have proper exercise. I am also an athlete and I take exercise very serious because I want to perform at my very best. Nutrition is also critically important for athletes because in order to maintain muscle mass you need proper nutrition like protein, calcium, lean meats, and vegetables to help grow a healthy body.

My dream is to be a professional track runner because I have a deep passion for running. Each and everyday I run to get stronger and faster until I cant run anymore. I literally put blood sweat and tears when I am practicing with my team. I am very dedicated, hard working and focused in track. The reason why I love "Track and Field" is because every time I watch the Olympics I watch them run very competitive and I am very competitive when it comes to running. Watching them run inspires me to train very hard so that one day I can be in the Olympics.

My dream is to also to be a Crime Scene Investigator. The TV Shows "CSI,First 48,NCIS" inspired and encouraged me to work in this field because I love solving mysteries to crimes. I also want this career because I want to be able to give justice to those who have been harmed in any crime. Their technology fascinates me because their able to easily find evidence of the crime. And I would love to work in autopsy's because I love to examine the body of the crime to find the cause of death and I have a strong stomach for that position.

I grew up playing video games and i would really love to learn and experience how to create a video game. Video game designing is very fascinating to me because you get to have an opportunity to be creative and bring your creations to life. I am very creative and I am good with technology so I believe that I can fulfill this dream. Video games are not just games, their is a storyline behind it to show the purpose of the game and to help get a better understanding of what you have to do to complete the game. Games are just like Movies, actors/actresses play as their own character in the game by projecting their voice as a game character. And they also record the actors/actresses movements so that the game characters have both the same voice and the same movements for the specific scene of the game.
