Personal Statement
My name is Cole Jackson, and I am a 6'1, 155 lb. junior at Redwood Christian High School in San Lorenzo. My best events in Track and Field are high jump and triple jump. In high jump, I ended my freshman year jumping 5' 7". I am currently jumping 6' 2". My goal is to end my senior year by jumping 6' 6". For triple jump, I ended my freshman year jumping 38', and I am currently jumping 40' 10'.5. My goal for triple jump is 42' next season. I am also running the 4 x 400m. At this point I am highly focused on improving my strength and jumping skills, as well as looking forward to finding a college that will enable me to continue jumping with its track and field team. I am interested in economics and computer science. Last fall, I had an internship setting up new computers in the lab of my previous school. I set up the network printer, wireless routers, installed new components and software, configured settings, and added picture albums to a website using FireFTP.
