Brandon Estrada '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brandon Estrada, a senior at Hart High School.  Currently, I am a leading Cross Country runner for the team.  I am passionate about my running and enjoy every second of it, though it can prove to be difficult at times.  When faced with a challenge, I push myself and teammates to surpass our limits to become stronger runners.  In practice, if a teammate falls behind, I fall back with them to provide encouragement and support.  

I have a lot to offer any welcoming college.  I respect teachers, coaches and fellow classmates. I am always willing to help any way I can.  I also have a background in dance, singing, filming, and creative writing, which have made me stronger both physically and mentally.  Through dance and song, I have learned to cherish life to the fullest, and that our expressions can be shown through more than just speech and physical contact.  Additionally, I've improved my breathing techniques which in turn improves my running stamina.  I've learned the value of time management having to balance a number of priorities, deadlines and race/performance schedules.  With filming and creative writing, I use my imagination to bring others to new worlds, and meet strange and wondrous characters.  My goals are my priorities which I give my all to.  I am committed to not only myself but to my team and choir group to achieve our collective goals.

With my creativity and passion for Cross Country, I believe that I would be an excellent candidate for college.  I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my future with you.
