Personal Statement
I am a results driven person who sets goals and plans to achieve them. Prior to high school I was an avid soccer player but decided to direct my passion towards distance running. I have been running since the beginning of my freshmen year and have been constantly improving since then. I am a captain for cross country and the distance team for track. I have worked very hard to keep my grades up and to help my teammates to become the best runners that we can be. As of right now, I have started out my track season stronger than ever with new PR's in every one of my events. My goals are to be a talented runner in college and to pursue a degree in mathematics.
