Bradley Fox 3200m...Personal Statement
Greetings! My name is Bradley Fox. I am an aspiring Junior at Danbury High School with an intense thirst for both athletic and academic improvement.
As a varsity scorer on the historically successful Danbury High Cross Country program, I recently ran a 16:28 5000m at the Great American Cross Country Festival Race of Champions in Cary, NC, which is my current 5k XC PR. My 10k PR is a 35:06. I am excited for the upcoming senior cross country and track seasons, and plan on breaking my current 3200m PR of 9:37.41 (converted from a 2 Mile Run of 9:40.78) with a 9:25 by the end of outdoor. My other track PR's include a 4:31.16 for 1600m and a 2:10 800m. I hope to improve on these PR's and plan on competing in the collegiate level after graduation.
Academically, I have risen to a rank of 2 out of over 700 and have a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.71. I am currently in 4 AP's- Statistics, Biology, Physics, and English Language, - and achieved a score of 5 in all 4 AP tests I took last year. By the end of high school, I hope to graduate with a GPA of 4.75 as the valedictorian.
I am proud to have been chosen as a Cross Country Captain for this season. I look forward to the upcoming seasons- both academic and athletic- that I am prepared to work hard and achieve in.
