Ethan Davis '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, My name is Ethan Davis. Im Currently a Junior nearing the end of my school year, until I return in fall as a Senior when i'll graduate from Tolland High School in 2016. I never got involved in Track until my 8th grade year, where I found myself with the passion to become faster, and overcome the challenges of bettering myself as an athlete and a runner. Upon my 8th grade year I had big goals for myself, of course perhaps unrealistic to bring my 7:34 mile down to where I could beat the fastest miler on our team whom was running 4:59. I never got to reach himm, but I shaved off my time to 5:34, and I never stopped to progress. One of the nice things that really threw me into my track career was our 4x800 state championship win, that ill never forget. That night after the meet my coaches all encouraged me to do Cross Country during the Fall of my Freshmen year solidyfying my decision.
    I had now began my Freshmen year where I learned what uit was like to be a part of the team, and all the basics. I had trained for Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track, and continue to do so now to meet the expectations that ive set high for myseld my Senior Year. I managed to bring my Mile time to 4:44, my 5k time to 18:09, and helped carry my team to State Opens in the 4x800m Relay. My vision does not end for Senior Year of High School nor does it end for last year in College. i hope to Major in kinesiology and apply it to my interests with running. I want to become fast enough in the mile and the 800m races to continue to run competively past College as well. And hopefully I can find a  College with the right setting and coaches for me to work with to achieve my dreams and visions.
