My name is Isaiah Bodie and I am currently a high school senior at St.George's Tech High School in Middletown, Delaware. I look forward to become a college student-athlete in a small college environment. My goals is to earn a college degree in sports management or sports broadcasting as I have a great love and understanding for all team sports. My dreams is to achieve a career job as a sports commutator or help manage a sports team. During my four years in high school, I participated in football and track and field. I have also been actively involved in a track club for seven years. As a running back on the football field, I was aspired to use my powerful speed to run on the track. I enjoy using my talent running as a sprinter in multiple events such as; 100 meter, 200 meter, 4 x 100 relay, 4 x 200 relay and long jump. My dad contributed to who I am as an individual, and a young man, and he helped me become the hard working track athlete that I am today! Unfortunately, my dad passed abruptly from cancer the end of my sophomore year. After the recent loss of my dad, I developed incredible strength that I did not know I had. I began to demonstrate outstanding performance, not only athletically, but academically as well. I am a leader and a hardworking person who is able to successfully develop plans and implement them. As the #1 sprinter on my high school boys track team, I have been able to assist in all aspects, helping my team successfully win back-to-back State Championship in 2016-2017. In 2017 I was awarded MVP for St. George's Tech high school boys track and field team. I look forward to improve my skills and accomplish my goals on a college level.
