Personal Statement
My goal in college is to make it on a track and field roster and run the 4 by 800, open 800, the 2 mile, and the 1 mile (preferably in a division 1 school). Outside of sports, in college I want to major in mechanical engineering and get my degree in that field. I eventually want to make it into the 2020 Olympics by working hard and taking every race and practice seriously. I am a good candidate for your team because I will work hard, show leadership, and be a cooperate athlete. My discipline in the classroom, having a 5.6 GPA, my willingness to sacrifice, and my determination to drop my times all put me in the category of an elite, all around athlete.
