My aim is to better myself through my academics and hard work in running in order to make it to a good college, hoping to make it to a D1 school that provides the right academics and sports program that fully fits my goals in the class and in my running where I hope to improve the team of whatever college I end up attending and become a much better and improved runner while I'm at it. I put a lot of hard work into my academics and try my best in the class room while balancing my grades with my running and have maintained over a 4.0 GPA weighted. My preferred area of study would be in the medical field which i would pursue in college to follow my passion of science which really interests me. I have been the captain of my track and cross country teams for two years now during my sophomore and junior years, showing my leadership skills even at a younger age. I enjoy volunteer work with my church which include me having taken two trips to Manaus, Brazil to travel along the amazon river to provide outreach to rural native villages that require medical services and supplies which definitely have been a highlight of my high school career making me a well rounded individual in my own opinion. I would love to be a part of a college team and I am really looking forward to making some contact with coaches to start my college career.
