Osiel moreno '17 Recruiting Profile

My parents have always taught me to keep going, even when things get tough. My interest in track started my sixth grade year when I heard there was a track team at my school. My sophmore year I made it to state for fhssa class 1a and I came in fourteenth in the 3200 meter run. I learned that anything was possible with hardwork and dedication.  I continued to work hard and dedicate myself to track and by my junior year, I made it to state for the 1600 and 3200 meter run. I came in fifth place in the 1600 for fhssa class 1a and sixth place for the 3200 for fhssa class 1a. 

I am a student athlete that participates in soccer as well as other extracurricular activities. I help my community as much as I can by coaching a youth soccer team.  I am helpful to my peers and teammates and dedicated to pursue my dream of running at the collegiate level.
