Personal Statement
~~My number one goal in life is to be successful. To be honest my future after college doesn’t consist of going to the Olympics or anything of that nature. I actually aspire to be an officer in either the Air Force or Navy and pursue my dreams as a officer in Para-Rescue. However, my commitment to running track is unbreakable. It was never my first sport since I just started junior year, but as I began to practice and condition for it more each day, it grew on me. I may not be the fastest runner out there, but that never stops me from showing everyone watching that I am a main competitor and that I’ll put forth every bit of effort to reach the top. I believe I am a great asset to any team and I will always try my hardest to ensure victory for my team. I know that at the right college I will be able to be in a navy or air force ROTC program and most importantly receive a good education which I will always put forward first, for I am a student before I am an athlete, hence student-athlete. I also know that under the right coaching staff in college I will be able unlock the greater potential within me as well as become better, faster, and stronger. Track is what I do, it’s what I love, and I don’t want to give up on it after high school. If I run at your college I will prove to you that you made a great choice for I will show improvement, hard and nonstop work, and undeniable commitment
