Personal Statement
My goals for my high school track career:
sub 50" 400M
sub 2:00 800M
sub 5:00 1600M
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to become the best athlete I can be while getting an education. Ever since I was little I have had a passion for running. I have had the opportunity to hold the position of Captain of my Track team. Being Captain has showed me that Track is a team effort, and that the team has to have every person striving to be the best they can be in order for the team to be successful. I like to motivate and encourage my team to give all they have at practice so when it is race time they can leave it on the track, all the while being a primary example of hard work. I also like to challenge myself and seek self- improvement by taking advanced classes in the classroom and perfecting my craft during the off season.
