Personal Statement
Track always has been something I love; Ever since my first meet in middle school, I have been invested in the track and field world. When I was little I remember watching Usain Bolt crush the 100m world record, in the Beijing Olympics and since then I have always wanted to break a world record like him. Track has taught me mental toughness and how to be a key role in a individualized team sport. I have learned how to compete as an individual to earn points and help out the team. Track has been such a great sport for me, and has shaped me as a person physically and mentally.
