Personal Statement
My name is Kyle and I am more than the sum of my environment and my experiences: 10 years of baseball, 10 years of wrestling, 9 years of football, 6 years of track and field, 5 football championships, 2 complete finals games as a pitcher including one shutout, runner up at the USSSA Baseball Nationals, grand slam hitter in Cooperstown, NY, 5x Georgia youth state wrestling champion, 2x anchor for Team Georgia at the AAU Wrestling Nationals, 3rd place medalist in Kingsport, TN, Bronze-certified coach through USA Wrestling, member of the FCA, Union, and Throw 1 Deep clubs, varsity letterman as a freshman, 2x Principal’s Award winner, Outstanding Peer Mentor for helping children with special needs, small group leader at church, Special Olympics buddy, Platinum level cruiser, and more chapters yet to be written…
People have described me as a hard worker, a diligent student, a loyal friend, and a coach once told me I am a force multiplier. I’m not exactly sure what that means however, he said our team was multitudes better because I was on it. I’ve grown up in a culture of athletes and it is my desire to continue on that path through college and beyond.
