Personal Statement
I have many things on my mind and I know that time is imperative when it comes to being a coach for a team; so I'll use your time as efficiently as possible. Starting off, I have a G.P.A. of 3.96, I have almost all my credits to graduate in 2017, and current taking 5 AP classes next year, along with 1 dual credit college course (5.0 weighted) . I plan to dorm and run competitively in college, but what I can take away from your college's experience, and the majors that are being offered there (I fancy engineering majors) will influence me much more.
Outside of school, I'm known as, an honest, outstanding athlete that will push to the limits, when inquired to do so. One that is looked up to, a leader to the young that I speak with. A person that makes his aspirations clear when he says, "records, no matter they be personal, or they be our world record. There is no excuse for not trying." An example is from 05/07/16,-- state championship meet--seeded as 8th fastest in the state of Hawaii in the 800 meters; and with the shot of a gun, the cheering of teammates and the screaming of an exuberant coach, it ended in a flash. Crossing the finish line with a brutal kick, now the 3rd fastest in the state. My body felt all sorts of emotions, but bliss overtook. I had pushed the limit beyond trying and really preformed. Approximately 30 minutes later I ran the 3000 meters, just for the thrill of pushing friends that feel like family, and to challenge myself to a brutal race. As I run today, I want to achieve higher and I want to have a solid job that will be able to give to others in new ways.
I am, ready for a future worth living for.
