I am a 16 year old cross country and track runner. I am a childhood brain cancer survivor, but that doesn't slow me down. I have been running since I was 10. I started with the Elgin Sharks, a highly competitive AAU XC club. I have competed in numerous AAU National Championships with them, and it was great experience. I am now a varsity runner for Crystal Lake Central High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I've been a member of the varsity team since I was a freshman, and I show great dedication and determination. It has been a dream of mine since I was a child to be able to run cross country in college. I would either like to go to a college somewhere in the Midwest, or somewhere near the East Coast. I am not necessarily looking for the best school, maybe just a team where I can make an impact the best I could. If I can get a scholarship, that would help of course because my parents have to pay student loans for my older brother. I would like to be a psychologist as of now, but that isn't my official choice yet for my major. My ultimate goal is to be able to run on the top 7 and make in impact on a cross country team during my four years at the school.
