Nick Miranda '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Miranda, and I am a two-sport athlete at Lincoln-Way North High School in Frankfort, Illinois.  I work hard both in the classroom and on the field because I know that both are mutually exclusive in order for me to reach my ultimate goal.  As the eldest child of three, I hope to set a good example for my siblings.  My father has been and always will be my inspiration.  His drive and ambition as a member of the United States Marine Corps has taught him discipline, competitiveness and responsibility which in turn have been my aspirations since my early childhood.  When I run a 200 meter lap for track, I strive to do better in each because my father always told me that no matter what I wanted to do just "do it with all my heart and give it all I have."
