John Alexander VII '18 Recruiting Profile

My Name is John Corbin Alexander VII but I like to go by Corbin.  I am a senior at LaPorte High School in LaPorte Indiana.  I have been a 4 year varsity cross country and 3 varsity track runner (will be 4 years after this year) .  Running has been part of my life since I was in 7th grade.  I love the thrill of competition and I am a positive and focus driven person.   My biggest collegiate goal is to find a college or university that I fit in well into their running program.  I want to feel that we are a family like a "brotherhood".  I am strong competitor and I always try to do my best to help my team .  I try to never put my needs before my team's needs.   I have been awarded the Mental Attitude and Golden Guts Awards from my High School CC coaches.   I have loved running in high school and I want to take it to the next level.  My aspiration is to find a college that has a team/coach that I can work with to achieve my best personal growth and be an asset for the team.  I want to earn my degree  while making amazing college memories while doing what I love to do, running.
