To make a collegiate track team would be a dream come true, but hard work does not stop by simply making a team. I believe that a team is only as good as their weakest link. Coming in as a freshman, I would be that link but not for long. To become a stronger team member, I am willing to put in the extra hours and compete against the best athletes during practice.
My goals are to first make the team, then before the end of my freshman year compete at the highest level. Another goal is to graduate and leave the team in good standings about my character and leave my hardworking attitude to the underclassmen. I feel that i am a good candidate for any team for these reasons.
