Personal Statement
At a young age I suffered a skull fracture in an accident. The injury kept me from starting sports when my peers did. I finally got to start sports, and chose to play football when I was in 4th grade. My class mates had started years before me, and I was not as good as they were. I knew I either needed to commit to getting better, or just quit. I chose to work hard, and get better. In the last couple years I have found myself being the one the team and coaches now depend on. I feel that my hard work and determination have finally started to pay off. I am currently a three sport athlete. I play varsity football, compete on the varsity wrestling team, and the varsity track team. After high school I intend to compete in college track while obtaining a degree in biology, or business management. From these experiences, and through my teams, coaches, and parents I have learned that you really only need three things to become successful in whatever you do. Those things are hard work, determination and a good support team.
