Personal Statement
Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. I am very excited about the possiblility of being a collegiate runner. Like many other guys looking to run in college I work hard, but, I do it because I simply love to run. I make friends fast as I am a social and likeable person. I plan to major in exercise physiology and/or physical therapy because have a desire to know how our bodies work along with actually working my own body to the limit.
Over the last four years I have worked hard to be the best runner/athlete that I can possibly be. Through training all year-round, I have improved my times dramatically and learned a lot along the way. My dedication to the sport of running goes beyond my high school training. My biggest accomplishment has been completing a half-iron man in both 2009 and 2010. I dream of competing in college as a runner as well as in a full Iron Man one day. I hope you will consider my times and dedication when you name your roster for next year.
Update: I finished 11th in the Kentucky State Meet; ran a 16:37 in the Foot Locker Challenge in North Carolina. I am currently registering with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
