I started my athletic career with soccer in the 7th grade. I was on a club team, and I loved the sport. What I loved the most about the sport was the running. After my 7th grade year I joined cross country the fall of my 8th grade year. I was put on the high school varsity team and ran in the state tournament. After that I joined the track team, and was put on the high school varsity team. Among the three sports that I played, I love track the most. I run track not because I found success in it, but because I thoroughly enjoy sprinting and jumping. Every practice I strive for success, and try to be better than I was the day before. I train every day either lifting weights, or running. I am a goal creator and a goal achiever. Every day I take those goals of mine and I bring them into my training. I constantly visualize and think about how to accomplish my goals. Apart from that, I make it a point to be a team player. Some people have said that track isn't a team sport. This is something that I have argued with countless times. I believe that to fully reach your best, you must be surrounded by people who are equally as driven as yourself to reach their goals. Every practice, every meet, and every game I try and always be positive and encourage my teammates no matter their performance. I do this to create stronger team bonds and to make sure that both me and my team find the highest level of success possible.
