February 2015Personal Statement
I am a senior shotput and discus thrower here in Louisiana, and I am very interested in coming and throwing under a good program. I am 6'4, 230 lbs, and athletic. (I'm still growing, my dad was 7'0) My personal bests from last year are 150'1 in the discus, and 43'10 in shot. I have been throwing much further in both recently. I am looking for a good program to grow with, and I have a lot of potential in both adding to a great atmosphere, and throwing very far. I have had minimal coaching, but the coaching I have had are from Olympians Gabor Mate and Brian Oldfield, as well as a little help from Julian Wruck.
