My name is Tyler Keeley. I'm currently attending Silver Lake Regional High School as a part of the class of 2015. My main events for indoor track include the 4x200 relay, 55m dash, and the long jump. As part of the outdoor track team, my main events include the 4x100 relay, the 100m dash, and the long jump. I also play town basketball and am part of a travel soccer team.
I've been running track since 6th grade and I've always had a passion for it. I'd like to say that Freshman year i started off doing the 55m dash with a personal best of 7.50, Sophomore year I bumped myself up to a 7.12 and this past winter track season for my Junior year, I got my personal best of 6.97. I'm constantly getting better. Junior year was my first year doing the long jump and after my first successful jump I came in second for the league with a personal best of 20-02.50, which I have recently pushed to 20'3". During the indoor track season 2013-14, I was named a Patriot League All Star and my Long Jump Relay team placed first in the Massachusetts State Relay.
As I rapidly approach my Senior year, I was a part of the XC team in order to train for, what I hope to be, a successful and unforgettable season. These past four years have been fantastic and I expect to do better this year than any years previous. I'm the type of kid who, once I set my goals straight, put 110% into achieving it, and that's what I expect to prove this season.
