Hi Future Coaches,

My Personal Profile through my High School Career: http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=3811715
I believe you need to work hard to achieve anything you want in life. I love sports and how the body works in order to be at your best as an athlete or in every day life. My plan is to continue my academics in Physical Therapy for its variety of settings to help others along with continuing my track career at a competitive level.
As I entered my Freshman year of high school I didn't push myself the way I should have. This caused me to have a slow start both academically and athletically through my freshman and beginning of sophomore years. It was then I realized what I wanted to do with my life as a Physical Therapist and realized that I needed to step up my game to be successful. This caused me start to applying myself in the way I should have at the beginning to bring up my GPA and take the proper courses. When I realized Track was the sport I wanted to pursue more than Baseball and Football I proceeded to continue with track in my freshman year.
In my middle school years I went through phases and was not a very fast kid until the middle of eight grade when I grew taller and thinned out. So, at this point I had a lot to learn and work on to become a future top sprinter in my school and in college. I have silently gained on the kids that started faster than me to the point I became our top 200M runner in my Junior year and within .4 in 100M. I have worked hard and have increased my times each year.
Entering my Senior year I have already PR'd in the 300M at 37.35 and the 55M at 6.85 and still hoping to drop into the 36s for the 300M and 6.7s for the 55M. My goal for spring is to hit under 11.0 in the 100M and to and a 22 or better in the 200M. Update, I have met my 55m and 300m goals and now look forward to improving on those into the 35's for 300m and 6.6s for 55m.
My goal is to become a well rounded individual academically and athletically as I continue to enter my adult hood. I feel I have not reached my potential in Track and Field yet and have much more to give with continued training and guidance.
If I look like a potential candidate for your school and track team please give me a call or email to discuss further.
Thanks, Aidan Friend
