Personal Statement
My goal is to participate in Track and be competitive at the college level. I enjoy the challenge of trying to improve myself with every event. I believe I am a great candidate for a college team because of my size, my physical strength, and my motivation to be the best I can be. I look forward to more formal training for Javelin throwing and ongoing strength training which will enhance my form and abilities to pursue my college athletic goal. I believe I am a role model for others on my team with my subtle leadership qualities which encourage and support my teammates to strive for excellence. Not only do I believe I can contribute athletically to a college team, I also have a goal to continue to excel academically.
