From a career perspective, I plan to pursue engineering so I can help solve the world's energy problems. Athletics are important to me because they help me to keep my focus and strive for excellence. I want to see how far I can go with distance running and draft-legal triathlon, but I expect my lifelong professional career to be in research. The ideal university for me is one that will help me balance these goals.
