I began running in Cross Country and Track and Field in seventh grade, after finding I enjoyed the sport and possessed a competitive edge. Though I would have to admit a preference for Track and Field. Team competition is unpredictable and exciting, my Brighton High School teammates are supportive and fun.
During junior year I will continue to run Cross Country and Track and Field to earn my varsity letter in both sports. Academic achievement is now more a priority and I am working toward raising my GPA to a 3.0. This summer I will be studying for the ACT and attending the University of Michigan Track and Field Camp.
I am considering studying mathematics and/or education in college and plan to earn a bachelor's degree. Running for a Division II school is my current objective. I am looking at various universities and colleges in Michigan, but have yet to chose my favorites.
