Matthew Zerfas '17 Recruiting Profile

     I have been running cross country and track and field since the 7th grade, fell in love with the sport and have wanted to run in college ever since.  I enjoy being a part of a team and hope to continue running in college and beyond.  I train year round, running over 600 miles last summer and I'm on pace for over 650 miles this summer.  In track and field I specialized in the 1600M, but also ran the 3200M, 400M and the 4x800M relay.  In the classroom I study hard and maintain a 3.0 GPA.  I also volunteer coaching and reffing youth sports and volunteer as an alter server at my church.  I want to attend a college where I can continue to participate in cross country and track and field.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college to further my athletic and academic career.
