Rodger Johnson III '16 Recruiting Profile

HI, I am Rodger Johnson III and I attend Southfield Christian School. I am a very competitive person when it comes to sports. I want to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the track. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to run and compete at the college level, whether it involves training on the track or dedicating myself to my studies. I think I am a good candidate for your team, because I never give up and I'm always willing to take it a little bit further to get better.  I am also a very coachable athlete. If the coach tells me to do something, I will surely do it without hesitation. Not only am I coachable but I am also a great leader. I'm a person that encourages my fellow teammates to strive for success and always be confident in themselves. Honestly, I think I am different from other recruits in numerous ways. Some athletes who are successful in sports are always boasting and putting themselves higher than others. However, I am a pretty humble person. I may be really good at something, but I won't put it in others faces. Also, I try to be successful in the classroom and on the track not only because I have to, but for the glory of God. If you give me a chance to run at your university, I guarantee you will not regret it.
