It is my goal to go to college and excel as a student athlete both on and off the track. I hope to one day run professionally and have been inspired watching the people I have watched run in youth track throughout the years go on to successful college and professional careers. Track has helped me develop as a person. I have learned to believe in myself, stay positive throughout times of adversity, and push to continually better myself. I have a superior work ethic. I have seen personally what consistent training and commitment can produce. My tenth grade year was full of personal bests. I had a hamstring injury early in the indoor season this past year and chose to rehab it properly so I can have a good senior year and college career. I have worked to rehab my injury and stayed positive throughout the experience. Because of my drive, determination, and perseverance I believe I will be an asset to any team I am on. These characteristics will also help propel me into a future career
Academically I would like to pursue something in the area of History, Anthropology or Agricultural Science.
