Personal Statement

My main events are hurdles and long jump, however I have ran many other events such as 100m and 200m dash, as well as multiple relays. Anything my coach asks me to do, I will not hesitate to give it my all. I love to run while in the off season as well, I have participated in many 5ks, 10ks and a Half Marathon.  I am also a 3 season athlete, competing in football in the fall and basketball in the winter. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Leo's Club and a member of the band. Managing sports, school work, and all the other activities I participate in through my school is a tough challenge, but I believe that is where my strength is.

While in college I plan to reach my full potential in Track as well as pursue my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
