Hi I’m Casey,
I have been running track since 9th grade and I started jumping in the last meet of freshman year. I believe I would be a very important asset to your track team for many reasons. First, and most importantly, is school. I work very hard to get good grades in my classes. You will never have a problem with me outside of track for any school or social related issues. Secondly, I have a huge upside. I started jumping in the last meet of freshman year and then placed 7th at state my sophomore year. Ever sense then I have become extremely serious in going as far as I possibly can with my track career. I have a ton to work on and I know I will mature and get faster as I get older which will help in my jumps. Third, I give maximum effort at everything I do. I come to all meetings, video study, lifting, and any other team oriented events. I love to learn about jumping and I am extremely coach-able. I want to perform at the highest level possible and nothing will be put in between me and that goal. I would like to get a scholarship for my athletic and academic abilities. After I graduate I want to be in the sports medicine field. I want my job to be involved with sports for the rest of my life. If you choose me I know I will be a great jumping and addition to the track team.
Thank you for your consideration.
