Since I was little, I have always loved playing basketball. I love competing against others and nothing drives me more than finding someone who is better than me and working hard to beat them the next time. I was always the smaller player on the court but that never stopped me, it is actually what drives me. I am proud of the success I have had at my size. I had really started to practice and put in work in the 8th grade every day in the summer I would drive in with my mom and she works at a fitness/rehab center, and they have a court. I would play on that court every day and play a bunch of people, so it helped me build confidence. This work ethic didn't end in my high school season either every open gym there was I attended I didn't miss a single workout unless I was sick or was out of town. The confidence that I gained through this has helped me become a really good player in high school. My freshman year I made the sophomore team and then my sophomore year I made sophomore and then my junior I made JV and swung varsity. I have always put academics before sports, my cumulative GPA is a 3.47 and I always try to get things done on time and be in class on time every day. I've always wanted to play ball at the next level and with my history on how well I make every single workout I will work to become the best player I can be.
