As a student at Whitefish High School I have maintained a 3.8 grade point average and challenged myself by taking advanced classes and pre college courses. I am a member of the National Honor Society and volunteer for a number of community events. I have been a 3 sport athlete throughout High School, playing football, basketball and track, receiving honors and academic accolades for all of them. If I can make it happen, I would like to have a track career in college, even if it means walking on to a track team to pursue my dream of being a decathlete at the collegiate level. I have competed in 7 events throughout high school, placed in multiple events at state track meets, participated in the Junior Olympics National meet this past year in Eugene, and I am a member of our local track club. I have not had the opportunity to compete in the decathlon, but I truly believe with the right opportunities and coaching I would be able to excel, and as I start my senior track season my goals are focused on what I can do to make it to the next level.
