Personal Statement
My priorities in my life are family, school and sports. After family my greatest love is competing as a track athlete. I have always dreamed of being an Montana State track champion. After my high school career, my goal is to be a college athlete and graduate. To accomplish this, I will work as hard as it takes to accomplish it. The word "Can't" is not in my vocabulary, if I set a goal for myself I accomplish it. If I don’t accomplish a goal that I set out for myself I will figure out why and way to make myself better than before. If I am given the opportunity and earn the right to participate in a collegiate track program it will be a realization the first major step in realizing my career goal of gaining a college degree in my chosen field of study. I am defiantly ready for all the opportunities and challenges that this life path has waiting for me.
Since family, school and sports are important to me as an individual, I recognize that I need to be a leader in these three areas to achieve my goals. Being a good leader means doing the right things when your parents, coaches, and teachers aren't present. This shows adults, that I can be trusted to make good decisions no matter the situation. Being a good role model at track, school, and for family is an important part of my character. Having someone you can trust in and off the field is very important. I am a good candidate for any team I join. I easily becomes good friends with my team mates as well as my competitors. Developing lasting friendships and good relationships with coaches and other athletes, weather from my school or at other schools, has been a hallmark of my high school career. Track is my biggest. I will do anything to help myself and my team to be a good athlete, person, and most of all a leader.
