Personal Statement

I would definitely like to be a college athlete. I've always dreamed about winning a National Championship for my school. If all goes well, running in the Olympics would be the ultimate goal. I want to graduate with at least a Bachelors Degree, and then my Masters. I'm not sure of my major, but I want it to be something I can use after school. I run the 100m, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 4x100m relay, and 200m regularly. I also dabble in the 4x400 relay and 400m. As a freshman, I was running some of the faster times on my team. My coach said that if all goes well, I should be running in the 14s in the 110mh, and 41 or lower in the 300mh. I have improved significantly over the summer break, and expect do do extremely well this upcoming season. I invite you to come to any of my meets throughout the year. I recently broke our school record in the 100m, running a 10.93, which is about a whole second faster than I ran last season. Unfortunately, I won't be able to run the 300m hurdles in state this year, because it is scheduled right before the 100m. I'll be running the 400m in place of it. I currently rank #2 in all classes in Montana for the 100m. I am a huge state championship contender this year. I believe my team and I can make a run at the title, if all goes well.
