My college goals are to go to school and to do the best I can. I know that there are struggles that can set a person back, and I just want to be the best that I know I can. I am already taking a full college load along with the high school classes I need for graduation. I am able to do this through my school, Wake Early College of Health and Science. At this school I am able to graduate with an associates degree in science along with a high school diploma. I do not go to Enloe, but am able to run for them, because my school does not have sports.
I would be a good candidate for teams, because I am able to a maintain balance between my academics and athletics. The transition over from high school to college would not be a hard task for me to adjust to. My grades are high and I am a promising athlete. I know that practice is the time to focus on the work needed on the track. The classroom is where I should focus on my academics so that I can do what I want.
I aspire to either go to the Olympics and to become an orthopedic surgeon. These are two goals that most people would think are crazy. I believe that I could accomplish both of these with ease. I am a hard worker and will not refuse to do a workout. I am strong on the track and in the classroom.
Also, I am not afraid to speak my mind. When ever I speak to people, I tell them exactly what I am thinking. Is someone asks me to judge a situation, I am not one to sugar coat what I think. I will say how I feel and explain everything that I see without hesitation.
I will also do any event asked of me. All someone has to do is show me what to do and I will do it. I am a very versatile athlete and am willing to compromise with my coaches. I believe that I should be considered because I have many different things to offer.
