Hunter Steele '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been competing in Track, Cross Country, Road/Trail Races, and Triathlons since my 5th grade year in Middle school.  I truly enjoy racing, and I have a very strong work ethic.

Highlights of my Middle School career include setting course records at the Tah-Neva Track & Field Championships in both 7th and 8th grade, as well as multiple school and league records in the 400, 800, 1500, 1600, and 4x400 relay.  My brother and I both competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals (June, 2022), where I made the podium in the 800m, and we look forward to competing at The Armory in the Nike indoor Nationals in March, 2023.

I just completed my first season competing in XC at the high school level and a was top finisher and the 2nd freshman in most of the race entered. My best races were at Flat SAC & our NV State Championship.

I can't wait for track season where I will specialize in the 800m & 1600m distances.
