In college my goals aren't just to be a good athlete or get good grades, I must learn to continue to build my work ethic through track and field as well as continue to build my mind as a student. I plan on using track and field, the sport I love, to get me into college with as little debt as possible. I would be a good candidate for your team, because unlike other track and field people I know who are unbelievable gifted with talent from god, I have worked hard before, during, and after practice in order to obtain the skill I have now. I don't like to miss practice and always aim to hit the goals I set, no matter how high. This doesn't just apply to the track, the same goes for my academics. I learned there are no short cuts to greatness, and with that I have learned to have the heart to work harder.
