I've been running track and field since my sophomore year now and cross country since my junior year, as I am entering my senior year I see how much I've matured from that first day. I am very easy to communicate with and clear with my goals. The highlight of my high school career so far was finishing second in the divisions meet my first year for the 4x800m with a time of 8:16. Another highlight was during my junior year I got 2:02 in the 4x800m relay helping my team go from eighth to third. Or when I placed top 30 at Browns University invitational during my first Cross Country season with a 5K time of 17:19. When my team didn't make it to the state qualifier meet my second track season this really helped me grow and learn as a student athlete. My end goal in this sport is to break 1:50 in the 800m and become an amazing distance runner.
Also I want to major in nutrition because something running has taught me is what you eat can make or break you. Also at first I didn't know exactly what to eat, so I want to help other athlete eat good so they can get results. There are many elite athletes that prove that what you eat makes a difference, for example LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo. Also I believe hard work can beat talent if talent doesn't work hard.
At first I only did track because I didn't make the basketball team. Also I didn't want to lose my stamina during winter so I did track. From the first week I knew I going to stick with track because of how competitive I was even during our warm up mile.
