In school, life, and track, I work hard and strive for the best I can do, and try my hardest to get there. In everything I do, I give it my best effort.
Since I started track in 7th grade on modified, and then continuing through 8th grade, where I started indoor track, and then onto varsity indoor and outdoor seasons in 9th, 10th, and now 11th grades, with cross country in the fall every year, I have tried my hardest to improve in my events, and I have seen the improvement I have wanted. Each season I have had a goal, and have been able to meet that goal, and achieve it. I knew what work I would have to put in to reach it, and I put in the work, and was able to meet the goal.
I do this in everything I do, from school and academics, to music, and to athletics. For me, working hard is part of who I am, and I take pride in it. I want to succeed in what I am doing, and finish it knowing I have done the best that I could do. In order to do that, I listen to teachers and coaches, and am very willing to try what they suggest. I know what they suggest is to help me, and I appreciate the help I get.
I am a very good listener and am more than willing to listen to teachers and coaches to improve even more. I want to be the best I can be, and in order to do that, I know I have to learn more, and by listening to teachers and coaches I am able to do that. In everything I do, I want to succeed and I try my hardest to do just that.
