Anthony Coraluzzo '15 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are: Sub 14:30 in the 5k, Sub 31:00 in the 10k, Sub 8:40 in the 3200, & Sub 4:05 in the 1600. I believe that my hard work, will power, and love of running sets me apart from the other candidates because when I am not running, I am thinking about it or reading about it. I always put running before friends and other activities besides family and academics. During the summer, I run 13 miles to work, and then landscape for 8-10 hours, so I have a drive to me that is extremely hard to break. I have held a job landscaping for 1 year so far and I have had a job at Dunkin Donuts for 2 years. I look to not only have myself succeed in running, but my teammates as well. I always do my best to motivate my team by running with kids of a lower ability and cheering on kids who do their best. I want to have the best team possible and I believe that when runners are motivated, especially by their teammates, it makes the team faster as a whole. I hold a solid 3.0 GPA in high school and take classes that push me to be the best learner that I can be.
